The room was meticulously clean, clearly things have changed since the prior reviews. Every glass, washroom kitchen including stove oven fridge and microwave spotless. And I mean spotless. Beds not super comfy and my room is on the highway side so a little noisy. Mike at the front desk was a welcome surprise full of personality and knowledge. Ever so helpful and I have found my go to home 3 nights every month. I have tried several of the local places and this place surpass. Side note, my line of work includes fastidious cleaning and that is the number one reason I’ve chosen Western Budget.

Very disappointed with all aspects of this property. We booked this particular property for the use of the pool, which we found out was closed after paying our room deposit. This was after they had lost our reservation. The room did not have a working TV nor a working blow dryer nor an iron or telephone. We were moved to a second room with working TV and dryer. However when returning to room at the end of day we were locked out for supposedly not paying when they had our payment recorded for the defective room. Never again will we stay at this property.

酒店回复: I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. We did close the pool temporarily, as we take health and safety very serious. But was reopened in the AM. Unfortunately, yes there may of been a TV issue, new tech always fails easily., (and upon my inspection, no issues were found), but we moved you soon as that was brought to our attention, along with the hair dryer that failed. Yes, payment was an in house issue, and I apologize for that.

Another excellent stay
The nice lady who checked me in, made me feel very welcome. Very friendly. Upon check out the funny gentleman who I had a laugh with about technology these days. Thanks for the excellent breakfast and coffee.

I notice the small efforts that was put into making my room. How the towels were folded and how the toilet paper was folded into a diamond. I really appreciate the efforts of housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable. I'd stay here again. Check in and out; I was helped by two very well humoured people, which set the tone for the my stay. I always enjoy a good laugh after a long drive.
