It seems that my review keeps getting deleted not just on here but Trip Advisor as well. Wonder why that is? This place has BEDBUGS! Do not stay here! I am with FEMA and stayed here while on deployment to assist the disaster survivors. The first day I got there I had a mild itch, each day got worse, I brought to the managers attention they inspected the room and assured me it was carpet beetles not bed bugs. When I got back after a 12 hour day, they assured me it was taken care of. They steam cleaned the floor stripped the bed etc. That lasted one night, the next night was worse than all the others. I went to the front desk and I patiently explained that I again have bed bugs. They offered me another room but I didn't want to move and just carry the bugs with ma. I asked that I be moved to another room and that the hotel take all of my items and have everything sanitized. I also asked to speak with the manager of the hotel at 10:30 she called and she was immediately hostile! I continued to be calm and polite until she started spewing nonsense. She said it couldn't be bedbugs because it takes 5-7 days to even see the bites and my issues started on the first day. Still she said it was carpet beetles, then she tried to tell me some lame story about how she was laying on the beach and got bit all over by sand fleas. I had not been anywhere near sand as I said above I was working 12 hour days assisting survivors. I told her all of that was ridiculous and all I wanted was a new room and to have my stuff sanitized to ensure I didn't carry them anywhere else. When I told her I would pay for an exterminator to come in and assess she FLIPPED OUT! She told me to get the F$&k out of her hotel that night (it was after 11pm). So to keep this all quiet she was happy to kick me out in the middle of the night and spread the infestation to another hotel. While I tried to figure out what to do, I was in tears, it was late, I had another 12 hour day ahead of me and I was being literally put out on the street. Finally the lady at the front desk gave me another room for the night , I had to take the morning off to go and sanitize everything I had myself. Which means that survivors had to wait longer for assistance. That woman was awful and should be deeply ashamed of her behavior. All I wanted was a new room and to have my stuff sanitized and she acted like I was asking her to jump off of the highest roof. It's funny how the hotels answered everyone else but deleted my review. Ask yourself why they reacted like they did!

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!! When brought to their attention was told they were carpet beetles and they had steam cleaned the carpets and stripped the bed but they were there the same night. I am allergic and broke out in an itchy rash all over my body! I spoke with The Assistant GM she told me they were not bedbugs and I must have gotten bitten somewhere else by sand fleas or something. I walk from the hotel to my car, I drive to where I work walk into that building, work 12 hours, drive back to the hotel and walk to my room. Where would I have gotten sand flea bites? Also, wouldn't I be itching all day at work? Yet I wasn't only when I was in the room laying on the bed. I said I would pay to have an exterminator come and look. As soon as I said that on the phone by the Assistant General Manager at 10pm she said "PACK YOUR S$@T AND GET THE F&? OUT OF MY HOTEL TONIGHT" I work for FEMA and I'm working 12 hours a day to help the survivors. ! I was up until 2am packing and trying to find another place to stay that wasn't 2 hours from where I was working. I also had to pack up everything that night put it all in my car. I worked the next morning starting at 8am to 6pm assisting the survivors, then I had to take all of my belongings to a laundromat where I spent 3 hours washing and drying everything I brought with me 3 times hot water, while I sprayed down anything and everything else including the car with Lysol. I had to leave the $100 worth of food I brought. Even though Staybridge was fine with me infesting another hotel, I was not. I did all of this before checking into another hotel. Do not risk staying here! Management did NOTHING to help just kicked me out. I have added it to the review with our travel staff so hopefully no one from FEMA ever has to experience what I did.

Hot Breakfast was good and comparable to offering in similar hotels. Property is very old. Furnishing has not been kept us with time. Maintenace is poor - cooking oven plastic was broken. Housekeeping is much to desire for - one could see dirt streaks in the glass door of the cabinets. We moved out for 3rd day of our stay at a better hotel for less price.

This is a wonderful place to stay when you are visiting Lakeland. Clean every single time I visit. People who work here are always friendly and helpful. Close to Tampa and Orlando. The free breakfast is always nice and coffee is good. Waffles too!

Very dirty hotel. Found an old used coffee filter from the previous guest in the room. Hair in the shower. Leftover food residue in the refrigerator. Found trash underneath the couch- our dog found it first and was chewing on it. Carpets very unclean. Didn’t feel comfortable walking around barefoot.

This was our 5 consecutive visit to this establishment. Staff members never cease to serve us with great hospitality. SMH @ Mr. J Sadler one of the managers. When i tell you i have NEVER experienced customer service and hospitality to the level he exemplified for myself and my family. Mr Sadler sacrificed his time, gas and money for me. Stood in expected traffic with a great attitude to ensure my package that was shipped there was taken and shipped to me. Its so much that was involved that it would be too much to write. All i can say is his level of professionalism and service was Beyond Approach! Thank You Sincerely Sir 🫡 🖖🏿

The nicest amd most courteous staff, very clean and homey environment. The staff found out it was my birthday and sang Happy Birthday to me!!! I feel som welcome, every staff member knows my name and makes me feel welcome! Highly recommend!!!

The front desk attendant looked like he crawled out of a gutter. The hotel was dirty, garbage on the filthy floors stayed like that for 2 days. Says 100% smoke free yet the halls reeked of cigarettes and pot. Just gross. No hot food for breakfast. Just passing through and use IHG points. Won't be back.

We stayed here about 3 years ago and loved it, but we won't stay there again. The hallway carpets were full of stains. The stairwells contained litter (lint, dead kleenex, mud clumps, a rag) and general dirt. When I opened the dresser drawers they were full of small cardboard boxes, tissue paper, and plastic bags. There was mold at the base of the shower. The thermostat-controlled heat was good and the breakfasts were nice, but our room had a disgusting smell. I bought a can of Febreze and used it often and liberally, but whenever we returned to our room, the bad smell was overwhelming. I thought, at first, that it was due to the broken garbage disposal and rotten food in it, but when I complained, the garbage disposal was fixed by the end of the day. The room still smelled. There were also bags of garbage outside many doors waiting to be picked up, which didn't add to the ambiance.

Nice quit location. Very well kept and clean property. The staff was very help ful and friendly. Each room is set up like your own apartment , and they have a nice laundry facility. Also a nice work out center and a out door pool. Love this place every time I’m in the area for busnesd
