The issues you mentioned is because you chose a 5-day cancellation policy through *******. you had up to May 3rd to cancel your reservation. you cancelled your reservation on May 9th Day of arrival and that is the reason you were billed the cancellation fee. Thank you again for bringing your concerns to my attention, and we hope you will give us another opportunity to make your stay the best it can be.
The carpet in the bedroom 217 was dirty. If I walked with no shoes on, the bottom of my foot was black.

The hotel room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. A decent breakfast was included with a large variety. Our party of four had two rooms on the third floor, a few rooms down from each other. Our only complaint was the noise from the above rooms on the fourth floor. There is basically no insulation or noise barrier in the ceilings. Anytime anyone walked or made any noise above us on the fourth floor, we could hear it. It was loud and didn't provide a lot of sleep for any of us. I recommend trying to get a room on the top floor. If we had a room on the top floor, our stay would have been perfect. As a side note, the hotel requires a payment of $20 upon check-in for damage occurance. They said it's refundable, but I haven't checked my account yet for reimbursement.
