We were put in a really large room adjoining a really loud foul mouthed neighbor unfortunately. No more rooms to switch too. Complained and nothing done. The elevators could definitely use servicing. First floor light not working. Clunky and slow. Breakfast was good. Beds comfortable. Drain not working correctly in the bathroom. Light over the mirror in the bathroom had no light switch to turn on. Every time I went to the front desk workers had to emerge eventually from the office or outside. They were friendly every time. Also I have stayed at this hotel probably 10 times yet that is not noted anywhere. That is a big miss. It is convenient to my daughter’s college, usually quiet, beds comfortable and we like the breakfast. Just needs some maintenance, someone consistently at the desk who notes repeat customers and maybe put out pourable half and half to help save the environment instead of those tiny plastic creamers with the complimentary coffee.

Great Hotel!

We had a lovely stay at the Hampton Inn Rochester Penfield! The hotel is in a convenient location, just about 10-15mins from downtown and in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved the pool and the daily breakfast was also great. Staff were warm and attentive. Overall, a wonderful stay, and would stay again if we were in the area!

Stayed while on a college visit to RIT - nice accommodations for a reasonable rate. Great to see your Nook - I was unable to enjoy it on this stay, but it seems a great addition to the hotel.

Room felt very freshly appointed. Had the most comfortable chair ever. Breakfast was standard fair, though the flavoured waffle options were excellent! Lots of parking, good location.
