Everything was great! Room was big, bed was comfy, they even had mugs in the room for coffee! Very lovely, homey experience.

Safari Inn staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had been remodeled recently.

The room had a strange odor. The continental breakfast was very limited and offered no coffee. The neighborhood was sketchy and unkempt.

This place is a GEM. It has all the feels of old school motel living. The owners are cute as a button and the place is spotless. I got a kick out of the actual KEY entry - hadn’t seen one of those in awhile! Bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE- shower was good - great TV stations on direct TV. Decent pizza place two blocks away. Great find!!!

Very nice clean pool, comfy beds, clean room and bath. Owner run, owner lives on property always ready to serve and help. Will stay there again. Perfect stop to acclimate to the altitude on the high prerie before heading up to the rockies.

Great Experience
Older motel but maintained nicely. The room was big in comparison to newer hotels and the convenience of pulling up to the door for unloading was awesome. The motel grounds were very nice and maintained by a caring hand. We stayed at numerous places on this one trip alone, all newer hotels and my daughter said this was her favorite. I enjoyed the fact it was also the lowest price of the 10 day trip.

About what you’d expect for a road side motel, definitely not the worst place I’ve ever stayed but the experience was no where near a 3+ Star Hotel…felt old and outdated.

We have stayed here quite often on the way to Crested Butte. Clean, friendly, family-owned.
