Very clean room daily, sheets and towels changed frequently. Staff very helpful. Outside bar was not open when we stayed 10/26th October. As we were the only people staying so had the pool to ourselves. Kitchen lacked utensils wine glasses, dishes for microwaving if cooking all the time in the apartment, but you only have to ask. Shower was a disappointment as small tiled floor with nylon curtain, needs modernising. WiFi could only get in the little reception not in the room for the first 2 weeks, as the island was all closing down the Wifi improved. Property in right next the harbour which was good, and the town for tavernas and shops. Buses were quite frequent. Found there wasn’t anywhere to go in the last week as every taverna on all the beaches had closed down. Best time to go would be 1st October when everything was open. Weather was 20c.
The property is next to a junior school and quite noisy at playtime, also a local children’s play park is at the back of the pool can get noisy with music. But overall it was value for money, clean and local to all amenities. You do have to pay the tax to the hotel on arrival.

Amazing stay at Skiathos Somnia! Great pool, fab central location, really friendly staff, lovely food, & extremely clean, well equipped apartments! Would highly recommend!

To start positively. Clean, friendly staff, family owned, situated excellently. But, The room we had. Pfew. A bit dungeon like. One small window next to he terrace of the neighbours. Adjacent in fact. An even smaller window next to the door. Two iron chairs and a table in a concrete hall? Yes, that's our terrace. A distance.

Great location just behind the bus station, nice and quiet and a short walk to the bars, restaurants. Rooms are adequate, small kitchenette with washing up liquid and scourer, small wardrobe. Lovely friendly staff. Bathroom has a small open shower with curtain. Nice for a short break but I'd want a better kitchen and bathroom for a longer stay

There is that “feeling like home” that only dedication and enthusiasm of the staff can make you experience. So many things are renovated since our last visit, including the pool area. Spotless clean, best location.

Me & my girlfriend wanted an affordable, clean place to sleep within walking distance of the town as we planned to spend our time out & about exploring different beaches, tavernas and eateries etc. Skiathos Somnia fit the bill perfectly. 5 minute drive from the airport, 2 minute walk from the car park, 5 minute walk into town. Location is really what sold us, 10/10. Staff were super friendly, room was spotless as was the entire hotel. Cleanliness 10/10, Staff 10/10. The room was very small but what we expected at that price. The pool and bar area were very well kept, pool was great, beer was cold, no complaints but nothing to write home about either. Was generally very quiet, definitely no fighting over sunbeds although we were never really there during the day. If you're after a luxury hotel, sunbathing by the pool, dinner on the balcony kind of holiday, this place is absolutely not for you. If you want to explore the Island, eat every meal in a different restaurant, experience the brilliant Skiathos Town night life and stumble no more than a few hundred yards to a clean bed, there really is no place more perfect. The pool & bar were a bonus for us, jumped in after a hot car ride back most evenings and drank a pint in the bar whilst drying off. We loved our Holiday at the Skiathos Somnia, we paid less than a third of the cost to spend the same week in the Atrium and we couldn't of been happier. Would highly recommend to people seeking the same sort of holiday we had.

Perfect quiet location. Very convenient to the bus station which I used to visit the various beautiful beaches. My room had a kitchenette area so I was able to get food from local store and keep in mini frigerator for my convenience. It’s easy breeze walking distance 5 minutes to get to Skiathos town center which is vibrant and where all the restaurants shops and bars/cafes are. The nearby New Port is nearby and lovely to walk by. I hope to return again in the future!

Once again we have had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at Somnia. Kiki, George, Linda, Kosta and the the whole team have been amazing. Rooms are lovely and clean, pool area is very relaxing and no struggles to grab a sunbed. Thank you to you all for making our stay another great experience. We will see you again next year! Just come back from staying at the Sommnia , excellent stay with fantastic service from Linda an George and Kiki couldn’t do enough for us . Rooms where spotless and the breakfast was great too . We would recommend this hotel to anyone as the location and atmosphere of this place is fab . Thank you to all at the Sommnia in Skiathos town .
