Well our flight was supposed to leave a little before 9pm and ended up getting cancelled at 1am. The gate agents eventually said at 4am that they ran out of hotel rooms. Hime Lodge opened up in the middle of the night to accommodate us. We were so extremely tired and exhausted from dealing with the airport staff who were clueless. The Hime Lodge team was so kind to us and quickly checked us in, accommodated a late check out, and even gave us an extra fan for our room. It felt like we were staying at a relatives house who really cared about making sure we were comfortable with everything we needed. We all slept GREAT and felt right at home. The next day, we walked to a few different restaurants which were delicious and super convenient. The lodge staff the next day also helped us secure a taxi back to the airport while we hung out in the common areas which were all very well kept. Thank you Hime Lodge for taking such great care of us!
