After an 11-hour journey to paradise, Mascot Beach Resort was our nightmare. We paid a premium price but got a deeply disappointing experience. The resort is old, which can be charming, but here it just means poor maintenance. Our room wasn’t the one from the photos; it was a smaller, corner room with peeling paint and mosquitoes. The blanket was dirty (changed after complaint), the bathroom was smelly, and even the overpriced in-room tea was undrinkable. Breakfast was the final blow—tasteless, limited, and served in unclean vessels. Charging ₹34 for an ₹18 water bottle summed up their approach. When we complained, the manager shrugged, saying he was "just an employee." No ownership, no solution. We checked out after one miserable night. Their advertised ocean view means nothing when your room is this substandard. We traveled 11 hours for a dream holiday, and this resort destroyed the first day. Please, save your money and your memories—book anywhere else.

I ve booked rooms for my sister's engagement. We felt very bad experience. Inside the room we felt very bad smell and the pillows and bedsheets were covered with stains ,moulds,fungus .... I've uploaded the photos of that

I booked this hotel after being impressed by the photos on their website, but the actual experience was completely disappointing and misleading. The room I was given was extremely dirty — the bed was in such poor condition that it was nearly impossible to sleep on. The bathroom was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. The corridors had a persistent foul smell, and during rain, water leaked inside, making the area even worse. It was far from the hygienic environment I expected. The only positives were the friendly and helpful reception staff, especially Ms. Chitra, who went out of her way to provide clean bed sheets upon request. Also, the food served at the restaurant was genuinely good — I'd give the restaurant 4 stars on its own. However, the overall stay was far below acceptable standards due to the poor hygiene, dirty rooms, and false advertising. Definitely not recommended.

The location of the property is amazing. it is a clear 10/10. But when it comes to the rooms and amenities it is just basic, probably 5/10. I had seen reviews calling out old and stinky bath towels and can confirm this. The towels, bedsheets and curtains are old and clearly in need of replacement. Food is good, and staff is friendly, so 7/10.

Great location, but poor service and maintenance have ruined the place. We were there only for one night. The TV didn’t work. Though it had DTH, they put the blame on service provider. I watched the IPL match on my cell phone. For dinner, the main items in the menu were not available. It was not that hotel was empty, enough rooms were occupied.

The resort is at a great location! The sea view rooms are awesome. We got upgraded to Suite, so that was also an added great experience!
