We decided to visit Ely for a couples getaway and wanted to stay here due to the online photos and stunning Riverside views. That was a mistake. We left 20 minutes after arriving due to how disgusting the room was. We were immediately greeted by three dead spiders on the ceiling and dealt with two other insects, there was mold on the bathroom wall and shower curtain, dust buildup, stained furniture and discoloured carpets that by the clear debris on the floor hadn't been vacuumed either (or not well), it's hard to tell in the photo but the headboard had a solid brown line through the middle from we're guessing oil/sweat build-up from guests and we found hairs on our pillows. Romantic right? Even basic things like the tea/coffee tray hadn't been refilled and the remote control was dirty. Our choice was stay here for 2 nights or take our chances elsewhere and that's what we did. Luckily, we found a lovely one bed guest house in Ely which turned our entire visit around. I can't comment on the food but that seems to have mixed reviews as well. If you like ******** then book here, if not, I wouldn't bother.

Honest review ! To be honest the people who run this pub are lovely, they couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. We were a large party of 24 boaters staying for the weekend. They kindly reserved the pub moorings for us, and were very accommodating. However there was a few blips on the Saturday night when we had pre booked our meals, they didn’t come out at the same time, and was a long gap in between serving, a few meals got sent back as they were burnt. But the overall experience was good over the whole weekend. The young bar tender looked after us and played some music in the bar for us at our request, we had a great time ! Overall this is a lovely pub with great staff The only thing that let the pub down was the moorings if the brewery spent some money on the moorings and gave it a quick lick of pant or world be brilliant . Would I go back and have a meal ? - You bet it’s a nice pub with great views of the river, and great staff se you soon !

The room was lovely and more than we expected for what we paid. It was very nice to find two very large dressing gowns and 2 small bottles of wine in the fridge for us both to enjoy and a decent coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and it was a lovely view looking out across the river. The balconies could do with a bit of redecoration and the curtains to be slightly bigger as they didn’t quite match in the middle but this didn’t affect our stay. We ate in the pub and the homemade pie was one of the best pies that I have had out, my husband had the curry and said how good it was, we could not fault the food or the young lady that served us. Very glad we stayed here as a stop over on our way to Norfolk. We would stay again should we be passing this area.

We chanced on this pub whilst driving through. The room was clean, the welcome pleasing and the accommodation comfortable. From the outside it looks a little down at heel. But our room was spacious had everything a Premier Inn offers , and had a fine balcony with a lovely river view. We did not eat in the pub, but it was more than suitable for a summer drink by the river. No breakfast offer but not a problem for us. All for £69.00.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious curries. Lovely location too. Delighted it was open for food on a Sunday evening after a cycle up from Ely. Thank you.
房间没有台阶,这点很好,但轮椅无法直接进洗手间,所以最终没能入住。不过,好心的酒店老板免费给我办理了取消。
