The rooms were impeccably clean, neatly arranged, and maintained to the highest hygienic standards. What truly stood out was the serene and calm nature of the surroundings, which enveloped us in a perfect home-like atmosphere throughout our stay.

Great......rooms were adequately designed for comfort and ease of travelling personal. View was like a village setup.... Simple and elegant. Very good service and assistance provided by the host mr balaji and his wife,kept us very comfortable. Well maintained and kept clean.

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The lodge owners were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made the stay even more comfortable and memorable. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well-maintained — offering both comfort and a sense of home. The hotel also had tie-ups with some fantastic restaurants, and the food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. One of the highlights was the hotel's partnership with local tourist taxi services, which were surprisingly affordable and made local travel extremely convenient. Overall, the hotel was very customer-friendly, and every detail seemed to be thoughtfully arranged to ensure a great guest experience. I truly felt well taken care of, and the stay was definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

Excellent service by Balaji and team. Clean rooms with A/C and can accommodate 4-5 people per room with kitchen and seating area. Secure within a compound with a great garden and atmosphere Excellent value for money. Provided fresh coffee tea breakfast and lunch.

Quiet space, Comfy beds with fresh clean white linen, soft fluffy white towels, squeaky clean bathroom, cute little house with everything that a family would need for a short stay in Kumbakonam. In case there is something that we needed Mr. Balaji and his wife were there right next door who went above and beyond to help us. He provided us with iron box and ironing board, bought my kids birthday cake very late at night with their names on it, when we couldn't find a bakery in a new place. He was a very genuine caring and kind *** that we felt so comfortable with this place, he gave us information about nearest temples, and tips for the best restaurants in town. He was extremely nice and made us feel so welcome. This is so far the best stay that we have ever stayed in our trips to India. We are definitely planning to go back and stay longer next time.

The beds and bathrooms were very clean. No cobwebs! The owner couple were very attentive, warm hosts. They took good care of us. It is a very safe, reasonably quiet place. Ideal to retire after a tired day. Very well located to visit many temples.

Kumbakonam. City of Temples. And temples galore from Trichy to Chidambaram. Overwhelming. I chose the Kumbakonam Inn while planning our temple tour. We are an India born couple with a son born in the USA. Each unit in Kumbakonam Inn comprises a sitting area, kitchenette, large bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has three very good beds, adequate for four people. Quiet, spacious, CLEAN and comfortable. We slept better here than in North American hotels. Outside the room is a tropical garden with parrots and song birds. The owner inn keeper, Mr Balaji, knows the temple belt like none other. His guidance was on the spot. He added deeper perspective when appropriate. How did he read our minds? Mr Balaji arranged a good driver for us and, each day, gave him the sequence of temples and places to eat. We had planned to stay 4 days. Extended it to 9.

We had visited Kumbakonam on 25th Jan 2025. We had booked family room. Basically it is kind of an apartment with 5 houses converted to 5 family rooms. Ample parking space for 5 families. Gated site with security in the night. Balaji and his team are superb in hosting their guests. Rooms are super clean. Food is not available which was already mentioned. But we had reached during lunch time and we couldn't find good hotels on my way to the stay. So I had called Balaji one hour earlier, he had arranged nice family south indian meals by the time we reached. Also when I checked with him to provide some details on the places which can be visited nearby, he voluntarily created a Google map from and back to the location with all the visiting places added as stop.Tea/ coffe are available anytime on request. I would recommend this place any family visiting Kumbakonam
