Faultless check-in. Stayed at Villa No 11 which sleeps 6 people. All 3 bedrooms are on suite so no sharing of bathrooms. Everything was neatly made up and clean. The Bathroon has shower and bath, plus a small supply of shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion. Bath and swimming towels are provided. Upon request, a hairdryer will be supplied. The kitchen has an ice-machine which is a necessity when the weather is intense. The swimming pool and patio looked out onto the reserve. The unit has a weber, plus a gas grid for your evening braai. There is also a gas skottel for breakfasts. TV and fireplace. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A

We stayed in Villa #5. It was stunning, with great views out to the bush and the valley. The villa itself was impeccably decorated, it had everything we could have wanted, and was very spacious. The front deck overlooking the pool was amazing. It was absolute luxury to sit by the pool and watch the zebras and kudu and warthogs, and the many birds. Each bedroom had a huge ensuite bathroom, which our daughters really enjoyed ! The Bakubung team came in every day to make our beds, clean the kitchen, and even emptied the BBQ ... it was fantastic ! Access to the Pilanesburg Park was on the doorstep, and so convenient. The team at Bakubung Resort were also all very friendly and helpful, especially the team at the gates. The only negative would be the sound of the fountain at the waterhole (preventing algae growth) which drowned out the sound of the African bush a little. A last note - I left my wallet in the villa, and the team have been incredibly helpful to get my belongings back to me. We will be back !

To start with the response u claimed in your reply was I guess to the tour company who contacted you since I had left the country. The ear piece you claimed was found in my room is the airline type which could have been left by any other guest. The only place I brought my own head set out after I landed SA was in my room at Bakubung and it is unfortunate that it got stolen there. I really regret staying there and the unfortunate thing is that I had never been to South Africa until then. First time and such a bad experience. Too bad. I would advise anyone going to the bush lodge to be wary. Things may not be as they seem.
