Cherie and her family have an amazing location if you are looking to get back to nature and unwind. We were able to go exploring close by with a trip to Stoney Creek and 4WDing at Five Rocks. Castle Rock Farm is perfect to unwind at and enjoy the outdoor area to eat and drink with large groups. The semi outdoor shower is magical, especially when it’s raining and you’re surrounded by rainforest vibes. We were a family of 6 and absolutely enjoyed our stay.

The location was convenient for hiking, swimming in local creeks and four wheel driving on the beach. Directions were easy with clear instructions provided, to find the farm. The room was very comfortable and suited my needs. The furnishing , clean space and well equipped kitchen made it a pleasant stay. The surrounds were peaceful and quiet.

I have had the pleasure of staying at castle rock farm numerous times over my time spent in byfield. If your looking for a magical place immersed in Nature..this place is ideal!! Cherie the owner is such a beautiful being with great communication & response times 🌎 Would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to unwind & reconnect with nature. Alawys clean & tidy with options for any budget which is always nice.

Tucked away under Castlerock, Castlerock Farm is a beautiful escape into the Byfield Forest - the location truly tranquil and picturesque, the accommodation makes you feel very comfortable, and its well-appointed. Highly recommend this place if visiting the Capricorn Coast region.

The Chalet at Castle Rock farm is a must for a family or couples wanting to share a four bedroom, 2 bathroom ,open plan accommodation. Very comfortable, set in a peaceful, serene rainforest location with breathtaking views. It is well worth value for money. Had an awsome time.

We had an incredible time at Castle Rock Farm. Cherie and Cooper were so friendly and accommodating. We really loved the many bush walks around the property and hiking up to the lookout for sunrise. Lots of beautiful birds for those who enjoy a spot of bird watching. Also enjoyed singing and playing guitar by the fire in the evenings after dinner. Our room was absolutely stunning and loved the outdoor shower on the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean and tidy.

This place is absolutely magical. The serenity is perfect to wind down from your busy day-to-day life and to escape in a natural oases, located in the rainforest with all its beauty it has to offer. Climb up the mountain, take a walk of the provided and marked tracks around the farm, go and explore the Byfield region and get back into your comfortably made space, is it in one of the swags or beds provided. The outdoor shower offers a beautiful way to start or finish the day, by overlooking nature as you enjoy the refreshment of the rainwater on your skin. We would highly recommend this place. We returned multiple times ourselves. 🌿

We booked Castle Rock Farm privately for a birthday and it was the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, nature-filled celebration. Days were spent hiking the trails, followed by cheese and wine around the fire pit with incredible views across Byfield. The property is spacious, peaceful and designed for groups to slow down, reconnect and soak up the scenery. A beautiful spot to unwind, laugh with friends and take in the tranquillity of the rainforest. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about coming back.
