Had a lovely stay here! The cabin was comfortable and had beautiful views. We really enjoyed the hot tub and was glad it was pre-heated when we arrived. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Studio cabin #2 The view at this place is a 5 star view and I would give 3.5 for the overall accommodation. Like the other reviews I will say that the amount of dust was a lot. The place seemed clean but there was a very think layer of dust on everything. The bathroom was a good size and the outdoor sitting nook was also nice. The placement of the cabins was pretty good so you felt you had some privacy. There was nothing to make coffee with which was super annoying and weird.

Our stay here was extremely disappointing from start to finish. On the morning of our check-in, we received an email stating there would be no electricity from 9 AM to 12 PM on our checkout day — essentially the entire morning when guests need to shower, prepare breakfast, and pack. No electricity also means no running water, so we couldn’t even use the toilet before leaving. This was completely unacceptable. When we tried to call the host to discuss the issue, the phone number listed on their website was disconnected, making it impossible to reach them directly. When we raised the matter by email, their responses were dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. The host even wrote, “There is no solution to it, and we do not feel like we should be punished for something out of our control,” showing complete disregard for the disruption caused to paying guests. Rather than acknowledging the impact and offering a fair resolution, they told us our request for partial compensation was “not reasonable” and repeatedly shifted responsibility. Unfortunately, the lack of electricity wasn’t the only problem. The property itself was far from clean: • Dishes were left in the dishwasher from previous guests, releasing a foul odor. • Kitchen cabinets clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages and were dusty inside and out. • Dust was visible throughout the property. • The shower still contained half-used shower gels from previous guests — with labels not even in Norwegian, confirming they weren’t supplied fresh. On top of that, the property is basically on a construction site, which was never disclosed in the listing. Between the poor cleanliness standards, the last-minute service disruption, the inability to contact the host, the construction site setting, and the unprofessional handling of our concerns, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Cleanliness was another major issue: • Dishes from previous guests were still in the dishwasher, giving off a bad odor. • Kitchen cabinets were dusty both inside and out, suggesting they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. • Dust was visible throughout the property. • The shower contained half-used toiletries from previous guests — with labels not even in Norwegian, confirming they weren’t freshly provided. This hotel was beautiful. I feel that this hotel is fairly new and that was well reflected. The hotel was easy to find, and the description from the contact through *********** was clearly visualized with a map. Based on this information, we were able to find the accommodation well. Everything looked modern and luxurious, but was as far as I guess from cheap material, as there were some things loose, but not annoying or something else in that direction. The beds were comfortable, but did squeak. In the night, that does wake you up sometimes. The chairs sat well, and the fire pit outside was also ideal as an addition. The washer and dryer were also good. The rain shower is also really lovely. The view over the beautiful fjord is magisterial and one I will not soon forget. It was not a punishment to be able to sleep here. I definitely recommend it to everyone!
