What a wonderful hidden gem along The Jeruzalem Wine Road. Hisa Pep’s is charming, super clean, comfortable with stunning views of Eastern Slovenia’s wine region. What make this place so special is Katja, the host and owner who takes so much pride in this family run B&B. Katja is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like family the moment you arrive. We especially appreciated the champagne on arrival in their wine tasting room. It is a fairly new B&B and the quality of the room, furniture, and amenities is the highest quality. We loved the patio area and wine bar. It’s located in a very small village but walking distance to a great restaurant and plenty of small family run wineries to explore. We can’t say enough great things about Katya and Hisa Pep’s. We highly recommend Hisa Pep’s for the adventurous traveler who likes getting off the beaten track and exploring local food and wine in a super comfortable and quiet village amongst the vineyards. We are very experienced B&B’ers across Europe and this is among the best considering value, comfort, and hospitality. A great establishment in a hidden part of Slovenia that is a must if traveling in the eastern part of the county.
