Nestled by the serene Dambulu Oya (River) and surrounded by trees, my friends and I thought we were in for a chill time. But, surprise! The garden was a bird paradise! I snapped some epic shots and saw over 40 bird species, including some Endemics. And trust me, you've gotta catch the sunrise on a hike to Dahaiya Kanda. It's like nature's own light show!

The cuisine served echoes the flavours of traditional Sri Lankan dishes, reminiscent of the meals my grandmother used to prepare during my school days. The tea he prepares is Exceptional; it captures the authentic essence of village-style tea, a feat unmatched in Sri Lanka. Indulge in a fantastic swimming pool experience, allowing us to enjoy our beer while floating on the water. In the Night, a robust BBQ by the poolside, accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature and the flowing river, creates an exceptional experience, evoking a feeling akin to being in the heart of a jungle. Enjoying a beer or whiskey........... What Lovely Stay.....

It’s a charming property with an eco friendly design. We loved the tree filled 4 acres surrounding the property and the colorful birds we spotted. The swimming pool and bicycles allowed us to engage in gentle exercise. The service provided by Nandasiri and Wanasinghe was very accommodating which made it a relaxing 2-night break, much needed after the hectic Christmas period.
