This is not a conventional hotel but rather a guest house with a fascinating history and purpose. It is run as a charity with a worthwhile purpose and deserves business but just know what you are getting. No question I would go back. Seafront view marvelous.

This is a Guets house set up as a Charity for Veterans. The whole place brreds "soldiers" - A superb historical venue, strategically placed by the sea front. Good breakfast.

Ridiculous owners. We booked well in advance for mid summer day and were told after msny weeks it was csncelled, with no explsnation.

Quirkily excellent. On arrival it is not obviously a hotel since it says it is a retreat for ex services. But they do operate as an hotel, so that is the first step. Then you find it to be full of memorabilia for all branches of the service, good breakfast though not till 8am, no evening meals, but short walks bring you to good food.

Friendly atmosphere; stayed 11 nights; a mid-stay check / clean-over of the room was mentioned in the brochure in the room but did not take place

热情的接待，房间里的一切都很美，但浴室太旧了，与房间的价格不符（虽然淋浴很好用）。广告上说是双床间或双人间，但发现单人入住时是双床间。
