This was not a great stay except that the location was fabulous for not having a car on the island. We could walk and bike everywhere. We had trouble with check in because it was only available 4-5 but our ferry didn’t get in until 6. There wasn’t a key drop and we had to call the emergency number and then wait a while for someone to come and they were clearly mad that we were putting them out. I asked to confirm that the sleeper couch was made up and she assured me that it was, but it wasn’t but the sheets for the bed were there. In our room we didn’t have towels so I had to go ask for towels. When we got back later after dinner to go to bed, we realized we didn’t have blankets! I am glad we got the towels because we used them as blankets because I didn’t feel that I could call the emergency number again that night. The shower is in need of updating and the ceiling and paint in the bathroom were gross. And I paid a lot for the room. But it was a great location for our 1 night on Block Island

The buildings were old and not well kept, but clean. The beds were super comfortable. It was convenient to stores and restaurants to walk to. Parking was terrible. There were not enough spaces for the number or people. We arrived at 9:30 at night and there was nowhere to park, and the front desk was closed. I could not reach the managers by phone. But we did get lucky because after sitting in the parking lot for about 15 minutes, someone left and we got the parking space. The managers should have let us know about this situation. The next day we were told to park on the grass, but that wasn't always available. Don't stay here if you go to the island with a car. Parking was a challenge the whole time we were there. Also, one of the bathrooms had black mold around the tub. Toilets did not flush well. I would not stay here again. Also, the description on ******* is different than what is on the resort website.
