My wife and I stayed here in the 1st week of Dec 2025 and it was a wonderful experience thanks to the excellent hospitality and service of the entire staff! We did multiple safaris across various zones of Pench thanks to Sterling's General Manager, Manoj who was in touch with us in advance and ensured that all our bookings were in place. The entire staff was so courteous and prompt in taking care of our needs. When our Indigo flight from Nagpur got cancelled at the last moment, Manoj immediately put us up in another room and took care of arrangements the next day.He also constantly followed up until we boarded our flight and reached our destination. It was great to experience such customer service! I would strongly recommend staying here for the service as well as the location which is close to Turiya zone gate. Rooms were clean and spacious. Keep it up Manoj and team!

The resort is conveniently located close to Turiya,Teliya and khawasa gates . The rooms are spacious and clean . The amenities are good . The staff is courteous and cooperative. The activities are good . Do try the nature walk with Suryansh Thakur. They have about 25 rooms in various categories like Premium rooms ( basic rooms for sterling members),padam villa, plunge pool villa, mud house, tree house, wood house. Expansion is going on.The sterling members are offered basic rooms only which is unfair. There is a conference hall and pool too. The food is good . All in all you will definitely enjoy your stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sterling Padam Bench. The property is beautiful, calm and scenic. Our room was very clean, spacious and done thoughtfully. The Plunge Pool and the Machan were both excellent spaces to unwind and relax. Most importantly, the hospitality stood out from start to finish. Right from the reception team, to the housekeeping staff, to everyone involved in room service, dining and outdoor activities – each person was attentive, polite and efficient. A special mention to Arnab, who manages Food & Beverage, ***** with Sukramji. Every team member, irrespective of their role, contributed to a wonderful stay. We would happily return.

We had stayed at this property the nights of 28th and 29th Oct. We had booked two Villas (203/204) which comes with plunge pool and machan. We had an awesome experience staying here. The villas were well maintained and inspite of being in buffer zone of the jungle, there were no insects or bugs. Property had huge open lawns, play areas and cycling options if one would like to cycle. It had a big swimming pool which was neat and clean. Food was awesome and the entire staff was very polite and helpful. Manager Mr Manoj is very cordial and helpful. Overall will rate my experience a 5 out of 5.

PROS: 1. We travelled from Raipur by road through Bhilai-Durg-Devri-Bhandara-Ramtek-Hyderabad Highway. It is a total distance of 335 Kms and took us 5.30 hours to reach comfortably. Road throughout is very good (4 lane). Immediately after crossing Khawasa Toll, take left turn, and your reach Sterling Padam Pench after 7 Kms. 2. Good and clean rooms, well maintained property, willingness of staff to meet all your genuine needs makes the property a must visit. 3. Alikatta – The Restaurant, serves excellent food. Special mention of Mr. Ankit who was quiet instrumental in going out of his way to serve us food as per our preferences and requirements. 4. The property also has (probably 4) Villas with plunge pools. 5. Common swimming pool is very well maintained. 6. Good sleep quality, as bed is king size and the mattress and pillows are comfortable. CONS: 1. Civil work (new construction) in the property is going on, which is disturbing and annoying. 2. Food variety / spread should be more (in view of the fact that their charges are very much on the higher side). 3. Stairs to the 1st floor (Premium Rooms) is dangerous as some wooden blocks have become loose, and one is prone to loose balance and fall. 4. Shower was not working properly (Room # 105). I had to hold the knob all the time in order to enjoy the overhead shower. NOTES: 1. Safari in the national park should be booked well in advance (before leaving for Pench). 2. There are several gates of entry. However, core area safari is recommended. 3. Open Canter bus also operates from Turiya Gate. Booking for morning safari in Canter Bus is 1 day before in the evening at 5PM, and for evening safari, it is in the morning. 4. 7 kms from Sterling Padam on reaching Khawasa, there is one Jaiswal Daily Needs & Restaurant, which sells a good variety of snacks and other eatables. 5. Pottery Village Pachdhar is worth visiting, which is around 2-3 kms from Khawasa. Wide variety of mud utensils and decorative items are available at reasonable prices. 6. Kahka Lake – around 5 Kms from Sterling Padam – one can enjoy speedboat ride, wooden boat ride, as well as kayaking. It opens at 9.30 AM, and closes at around 6.00PM.

During my three-day stay, the one word that echoed every time we asked for something — be it food, water, or even basic service — was “Chargeable!” The resort is located conveniently close to gates like Khawasa and Teliya. The ambience is pleasant, and the layout between the accommodation, restaurant, and safari pickup area is quite compact and practical. We stayed at the Padam Villa, which has four spacious bedrooms (two on the ground floor and two upstairs), each with a private sit-out and balcony. The villa also includes a private pool — a nice touch. However, the bathrooms were a major letdown: poorly designed fittings caused water to splash everywhere, and the towels were far from clean — they looked dull and uninviting. The restaurant setup felt disorganized. It’s clearly understaffed, and although the buffet spread was decent with a fair variety and good taste, the A’la carte service was painfully slow. The staff’s first response to almost anything was “Chargeable,” often before confirming availability. For example, buttermilk served complimentary in a shot glass on the first two days suddenly became chargeable on day three when served in a larger glass. A special mention to Mr. Raj, whom I met a year ago in Kanha — he was courteous and professional, unlike most of the team struggling to manage service. The biggest disappointment — plastic water bottles! Using plastic inside a National Park area is shocking, especially since this is my fifth visit to different properties around the park, and no other resort uses them so carelessly. To make it worse, the bottles are charged separately (especially for afternoon safaris) and aren’t even chilled or stored properly, which is unacceptable in the region’s humid climate. Overall: Disappointed. Unless you’re left with no other choice, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. They seriously need to work on their service quality, sustainability practices, and staff training.
