Room was super clean and modern. The bar was pretty empty which made it feel unwelcoming. Service was slow checking in and the beer prices are expensive for the area. Breakfast was good value for money.

Quietish considering its on a busy road, roundabout.
Across from the pub theres a Sainsbury's supermarket, pure gym, macdonalds and kfc.
As for the lock keeper pub, food is average for this type of place. Expect greasy gammon, gooey burgers and steak/checken you can re-sole your cloggs with

Great place to stay
Lovely location by the lock, as soon as we entered the bar area to collect key welcoming environment we made enquiries about the area as considering relocating everyone was so helpful.
Room was comfy n clean perfect for our stay
Food was lovely too.
