Stayed for one night in June with my family. After seeing sights along the golden circle, we arrived very late at the guest house. The host was very communicative and helpful, answering my questions and making sure that I was safe and settled. The guest house is slightly below the main house, far enough for privacy, but close enough that I did not feel isolated. The guesthouse was split into two halves, each which were separate units. The back of the guest house had a large attached deck, overlooking large open fields. There was a large privacy wall between the two units, which was nice. The deck had a grill, clothes line, as well as a good sized hot tub. The guesthouse had a nice sized main living room, 2 bedrooms, as well as a nicely finished bathroom. The kitchen was also larger than others I found through iceland, with a clothes washing machine in the area as well. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and there was also some supplies/condiments and basics for around the house/kitchen if you wanted to cook. My family enjoyed our stay, and had enough space to be comfortable and enjoy our time here. The location was a nice way to break up our travel out east during our trip. Thank you for a nice stay!
