Lovely guest house, friendly welcome by Keith who couldn’t do enough to help and make us feel welcome. Room was beautiful, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Good assortment of teas & coffee, fresh milk! Everything you could think of to help your stay was there. Jane & Keith cooked a tasty breakfast and are lovely hosts. Opposite guest house is the stunning castle, easy walk to The Mariners pub, walks along river or to Dylan Thomas’s home. thank you

Arguably the best B&B we have stayed in. Room was immaculate and clean. Hosts were very welcoming. Super breakfast made to order. Perfect location with the castle and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse just a short walk away.

Had a one night stay at the Boat House and wish we could have had more! Very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Spotless bedroom and bathroom. Good to be able to walk around in slippers, (well worth taking). Super personal breakfast this morning cooked to order and first class. Location is perfect to enjoy Laugharne. Very much hope to return.

Jane and Keith are superb hosts. The Olive room is really big, breakfast delicious. They were so helpful about where to go. Local pub and gorgeous eateries just a walk away. Lovely walk around Laugharne castle, just a stone throw from the B&B. Plus Dylan Thomas house and writing shed. We will definitely go again. Thank you both. Keith, sorry about the football !

From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like old friends—so warm and welcoming! Breakfast was absolutely lovely, with locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable—impressive, considering we had the smallest one! The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and recommended some fantastic walks. We took their advice and visited Dylan Thomas’ Boathouse, which was a real highlight. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Boat House B&B to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay—we’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing stay we have had at the boathouse inn! Spotlessly clean and well aired room with amazing amenities available. Nothing was too much to ask! Jane and Keith are splendid hosts and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The beds (twin room) were super comfortable, needless to say I had an amazing sleep. Feeling refreshed in the morning we then had breakfast, what a feast! Cereals, fresh juice, watermelon and a full english breakfast with a lovely pot of tea and a few rounds of toast with butter and marmalade. All in all a fabulous stay of which we will definitely be booking to stay again soon. Thanks Jane and Keith, see you soon! Charlotte.

Wow! The Boat House was the best B&B I have ever stayed in within the UK. The hosts are friendly, warm and kind, and the rooms are simply stunning. If you enjoy a quiet, pleasant stay, this is the place to stay! We were even surprised with beautiful fresh melon before our beautifully cooked full English breakfast, orange juice and tea. We had a fabulous stay and are already planning to come back next summer!

I have stayed in the Boat House B&B in Laugharne a few times when I attend the Laugharne Festival and I have already reserved the splendid Purple Room for my next visit. Jane and Keith are excellent hosts and serve up a great Welsh breakfast (we vegetarians are well catered for!) . The Purple Room is spacious with a very comfortable bed. I really appreciate the little extras Jane provides in the bathroom too. The house is well positioned very near the castle and the sea - which adds a sense of adventure when staying there during very high tides.

I have stayed at the Boathouse in both 2024 and 2025 staying in the Scarlet Room and would always chose it as my prefered accomodation in Laugharne. The Boathouse is a centrally located, charming old building, tastefully decorated with a relaxed welcoming ambience. The double room is very comfortable and generously supplied with tea and (real) coffee. The owners are charming and friendly, the breakfast excellent, and there is on site parking (important in the centre of Laugharne). I cannot recommend it highly enough.
