Our 2nd stay at Rose Cottage. Liz and Steve are just fabulous hosts. We stayed in the Ruby room, so lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great comfy bed and good size, very powerful shower en suite. Nice and peaceful, it's a quiet pretty village. Fantastic breakfast, freshly cooked by Steve, nothing is too much trouble. We will most definitely be back when visiting friends in the area. Thoroughly recommend.

Outstanding in every respect: from the friendly welcome, very helpful, clean and comfortable room. Like home from home, the room and all of this B&B full of character, well thought out fittings and decor. They don’t do dinner but the Generous Briton next door is very good. The breakfast was superb. Fresh and generous portion. Overall, highly, highly recommend.

We always look forward to visiting Rose Cottage, and it is our 'go-to' B&B whenever we visit the area. Not only is the property beautiful and comfortable, but Steve's breakfasts are superb. We have never found a B&B to surpass it, and look forward to visiting again next year, too.

I needed a B&B for one night close to where I was booked to give a talk. Rose Cottage was recommended to me, and proved to be a good one. Liz and Steve couldn't have been more friendly and helpful (e.g. fixing me up with an early meal at a local pub). The cottage is charming and surprisingly spacious. My bedroom with en suite was very clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious and generous. All in all, I thoroughly recommend Rose Cottage. Many thanks to Liz and Steve.

I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful quintessential English cottage in a small and quiet village. Liz & Steve are amazing hosts who welcome you into their family home, with extensive knowledge of the local area. We stayed in the Ruby Room which is at the front of the property. The beds are very comfortable, with luxuriously soft bedding. Everywhere is exceptionally clean and maintained to a very high standard. All amenities are at hand, including the endless supply of coffee and fresh milk! The breakfast is freshly prepared with high quality produce and home made bread. Our 2nd stay was as wonderfull as our first last year. This B&B is a real gem. If you are searching something in this area, be sure, this is the place to be. Read the comments on Tripadvosor, they are all so true. Liz and Steve are the most friendly and nice people, the perfect hosts. Would certainly recommend and hope to stay there again. The Various 5 Star reviews on here are on the money - Had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed, everything was very clean, enjoyed my breakfast and the village itself is very nice, Had a meal in the Generous Britten the night before which is just up the road and was also very good, separate review incoming :-)

On a trip to Norfolk, decided to stop over for a couple of days so we found rose cottage on trust pilot and i must say we were blown away with what we saw and the hospitality from Steve and Liz was second to none. The breakfast was first class. The rooms were spotless and the hospitality could not of been made to feel more welcome. Will definitely be returning.

Immaculate, that's the word for this lovely B&B with the most friendly hosts Liz and Steve. I've seen only now the other revieuws on this site and not a word is untrue. We only stayed for 1 night on our way north to Yorkshire and we regret now we couldn't stay longer, We had the Ruby room wich is a good size, a super king size bed, nice en-suite bathroom with shower. All super clean. The dining room is a real gem and the breakfast was superb. Thank you Liz and Steve for a wonderfull stay.
