Exterior door locks were broken and doors were held open with rocks. Clerk said it was safe there because "nothing ever happens here".
I refused to stay there for safety reasons and was told a refund was not possible because I made the reservation online. The clerk on duty (Melissa) didn't tell me this until AFTER I checked in.
I realize that is said non-refundable when making the reservation online, but exceptions need to be made when it comes to safety.

No security chain on room door, door key would not operate hotel side door from parking lot, no phone in room, wake up call unavailable, no clock radio, mildew in bath tub, tub water stopper broke (unable to take bath).

No shampoo or soap in the room
A little bit dirty
Showered didn’t work very well
And loud noise all night long sounded like a water system pumping water. It was a big weekend though for people to stay there.

Hair in the shower and whatnot, but the staff was lovely. Oh well, I was here for 1 night so I could deal with it. I would just pay a little more attention to bathrooms.

On my first night there I noticed what appeared to be bed bug dirt on the seam at the end of the bed. I asked the nightshift desk associate who let me know the manager would be there in the morning, but that we couldn’t move rooms because they were all full. I was very concerned, and spoke with who I think was the manager in the morning. She told me approximately three years ago that “a bunch of Haitians” (her words) stayed there while working at a factory up the road. She said they brought bed bugs, and while some of the beds had been replaced, some had just been treated and that there may be stains left over. I wanted to believe that but I was paranoid the rest of my stay. When I got home I washed and dried everything and just prayed there were no bugs. Additionally, the bed was extremely stiff and uncomfortable.
