I travel 40+ days a year and the ********** ratings rarely fails me if I choose an 8+ rating, this time was a fail! We get to the room and the AC is shut off and it’s about 85 in the room (it took almost 3 hrs to start to cool off. Several towels had visible stains you could see while they were hanging up. Water pressure was poor. The mattress was sagging in the middle and uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep in. Breakfast ends at 9am on the weekend, should have stayed in bed. The juice machine was broken and no juice available, the muffins were stale and I’m fairly certain they watered down the premade waffle mix it wasn’t even edible. The hotel has no elevator fyi.

Sadly, this was the only hotel in the area. It was filthy. Dirty towels and bedding. Dust and bugs in room. Refrigerator smelled.The breakfast was limited. Juice machine broken. No AC in lobby. AC in room loud and barely functional. Outside door that was supposed to be locked at all times did not lock. Ice machine down. Pleasant staff. Terrible facility.

Air was out in lobby so fans everywhere. Also air seemed to be out in the upstairs hallway as well. Juice machine was out at breakfast bar. The breakfast bar was small but had variety. Not frequently monitored or cleaned. Bedroom was clean and bed was very comfortable. Had trouble with the tv working on more than one occasion. Bathroom shower and sink water got to boiling temperature at full hot setting. Seems dangerous but we were okay.

It served our purpose. I would say the building is older and there was a stain on the chair in our room. The conditioner bottle was empty in the shower. The bed was okay but not real comfortable. The air conditioner in the lobby wasn't working and the continental breakfast was very minimal. On a good note, the lady who checked us in was wonderful and very helpful. Recommended a great place for dinner. We were in the area to ride the Hiawasee Train which was a great experince.

We liked the location of this hotel to everything we needed. It was close to the excursion we were in town for. Our room had a mildew smell, the juice machine was broke at breakfast, and the coffee didn't taste much like coffee. The staff was excellent to us and it was a nice quiet stay. Thank you.
