I selected this motel because it was the only reasonably priced motel in the area and we were only staying for one night. When we arrived, the building was dilapidated appearance and there was a sketchy-looking guy working on a broken-down car out front--it actually looked like it was out of business . I was so put off, I asked to see the room before we checked in. The room itself was nice enough, with neatly done fresh paint, new furnishings (albeit minimal) and linens, and bathroom fixtures. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful. I'd give it a B for cleanliness. The A/C unit, which appeared to be new, was incredibly loud and woke us every time it came on. We were also awakened around 1 am by what sounded like power tools or vacuuming, which went on for about 30 min. The cable TV signal went out around 11 pm. The door to the room, which opened directly to the parking lot on a busy street, had no lock other than the knob lock. I didn't feel particularly safe and would not have stayed if I had been alone. I often stay in budget motels on the road. This wasn't the worst, but vibe of this place was very off-putting and not worth the savings. Would not stay there again.

The staff are very nice and accommodating. The back rooms have a spacious feel; the front rooms do not. There is a nice pool. The town of Bridgman has a lovely beach just a short drive away. The beach is strict in enforcing their no dog policy however. Warren Dunes is a few miles away. There are shops and groceries in town.

New owners since Oct 2022 and doing a great job renovating! My husband and I stayed in newly renovated room. New everything! Microwave, mini fridge, Beds, New bathrooms! Keurig coffee makers. Wonderful helpful staff! Great outdoor pristine pool! This property have changed name to Sunset Dunes motel and suites. A great location close to Warren Dunes Beach and Weko Beach. Wineries and tourist attractions in town. Close to many restaurants. We will return!
