I called ahead since it was getting late and the proprietor was very friendly and said she would hold a room for me with my first name, no credit card needed. Phone: 806-495-2883. I was pleasantly surprised by this little “ no frills” place, especially for the price. It was super CLEAN and very comfortable. The motel is also pet friendly if you need to bring your traveling buddy on the road. There was a small refrigerator and microwave if I had food to store or reheat. The shower had plenty of hot water and adequate towels. No coffee pot, but I popped into George’s Restaurant down the street the next morning for a hearty breakfast and hot coffee before hitting the road. Give The Deluxe Inn of Post a try and get a clean room and good sleep!
