I know accomodation in Parkes make money during the Elvis festival but, to pay 410$ a night for a shoe box size cabin is a bit much. 1x queen size bed and a bunk. I am 5ft2” and my feet were up against the wall. No where to hang anything, no mirrors. There was a cabinet mirror in the ensuite. The basin was so small, if you did not bump your head on the cabinet all the water from washing and cleaning teeth went on the floor. Then looking for a power point in the bathroom was inside the cabinet, you had to be 6ft to reach it. Coming home at night no lighting to let you know where the accomodation was. Aircon did work and shower pressure was good. Would not stay there again

Cabins are only3 months old, clean and fresh. Plenty of room. Great pressure in the shower. All the cooking utensils were new and we left them in that condition. Beds were firm. The manager was very helpful. These cabins were in a side street so no noise from the highway. Would stay there again.

Very basic dated old cabin, needs maintenance badly. Bed the hardest I have ever tried to sleep in. Clean as they could get an old cabin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Microwave and kitchen gear provided. Don't think I would stay here again. Probably were better dearer cabins available.

I booked a night at one of the cabins as I didn't want to set up and camp in the pouring rain, booked the cheapest cabin with no bathroom and I felt like I was going to fall through the floor, it was in very bad condition, the only decent thing in the cabin was the bed. The amenities were also blah. The light on one side of the amenities didn't work so I showered almost in the dark, the lights over the bed and the little lamps next to the bed also weren't working. $95 per night was rather steep for a cabin that was in such a state. Enjoyed using the camp kitchen and using my own stoves, wasn't game to turn on the stove in the cabin

Bedding configuration in the older style cabin was not what was requested. The floors were gritty and the walls had dust on them. There was mould on the ceiling near the bathroom from a previous leak. Air conditioning in the main bedroom was not used as the caretaker told us it was leaking and they couldn’t get it fixed during the holidays. Smoke alarms were not working as the batteries left near the television were flat/dead. Even the remotes for lights/ceiling fans didn’t work as the batteries needed replacing. These issues should have been fixed before we arrived. Price was exhorbatent during the Elvis Festival. It was $420.00 for 1 person per night (not 2 people as is normal) and $20-00 each extra adult per night for the older cabin. We weren’t given the price till October 2023, which by the was too late to find alternative accommodation. Compare the price to what they charge now. This was my 4th time at the Elvis Festival, but after this experience I definitely won’t be returning. The only good point was the location, although it was hard to find at night because the sign was not lit up. The pool and barbecue area were very good.Overall the place was rundown
