It is the worst and pathetically managed hotel. First of all its not in Udaipur. It is before the udaipur border so completely misleading. You need drive on a bad streetlight less road for about 30 mins to go in the city. And also no network near the hotel. We had booked with Tej Pratap Singh and we asked him for a certain category of room to which he said he will upgrade us. We asked him we want this room only and we can pay more but he assured that he will upgrade. After we arrived, the room wasnt ready even when we reached at 2:30pm which is wayy pastt checkin time. after waiting for 45 mins they gave the room and that too not the one that we had choosen. Tej again lied and said that because of a wedding in hotel he couldn’t do it today but will do next day. We didnt say anything. Next day again he didnt change. again we spoke, he said tomorrow definitely will do at 12pm. we had plans to go out but we stayed back and packed all our stuff and then went but after coming at 8pm the room still wasnt shifted. Snd Tej’s phone - Switched Off. we asked the legendary Shivam at Front desk, who seemed to be in his own world and seemed offended that we disturbed him by our sully question. He said the room isnt shifted yet, and the property is sold out and went back to doing his own thing. No resolution provided, no apologies, no damns given. We told him also that you seem not interested in your guests but still was busy doing his own things, not bothered, if this wansnt enough he suggested “anyway you are checking out tomorrow so its only one night, how does that matter if you stay in the same room” So they expect that you book a room and when they dont give you that room, you just stay in whatever pathetic room they give and not complaint, I mean, its “just” a trip right ? and we are just another guest for them. We requested to speak with Front Office Manager, to which we got one more masterstroke by shivam - No manager is available everyone went home and also he doesnt have any contact number. Even we as guest know that even at night there is a Manager on Duty in every Hotel, but maybe not at the Great Sayaji. There is a construction work happening at hotel which by what it looks will take 6-9months complete. So entire day you hear construction noise and the room view is also not scenic at all. its just labourers working all day and mud and dust in the air. even at night they keep working. The staff doesnt do any welcome ritual, doesnt know anything about locality when we asked. The staff lies to their teeth and doesnt care at all about the guests. Defined a big NO for this hotel.

The overall stay here was amazing. Most courteous staff , the service was spot on. The food , ambience , rooms everything were amazing.

I stayed here for four days for work, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in many ways. The **check-in process was extremely slow** it took almost **four hours** for me and my guests to receive our rooms. While the **front office staff (Liza, Vaibhav, Mahavir, Harshita, and Pawan)** were polite and cooperative, the **housekeeping service was painfully slow and unresponsive** throughout the stay. The **Wi-Fi and mobile network were almost non-existent** for the entire four days. Even after repeated complaints, the provided voucher codes kept disconnecting, making it impossible to work smoothly. Overall, while the front office team tried their best, the **poor housekeeping efficiency and terrible network connectivity** completely ruined the experience. Definitely not suitable for work-related stays.

Me and my partner, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sayaji Udaipur. The staff was trained, experienced and humble. We stayed there for 2 nights, they had upgraded our stay to a beautiful suite. Initially we face some difficulties with their readiness for the room, as the bathtub wasn't working but they fixed it. Other than that we haven't faced any mishaps in our stay. Thankyou Sayaji. And i forgot to mention the food was chef's kiss.
