TRIGGER WARNING: Death in resort. This resort has been nothing but a nightmare. They have no security or lifeguards in the beach. One person is DEAD because of their mismanagement. They did not take any responsibility. After multiple call outs, One person from resort came inside the beach and left without helping us. We had to run to the local fishermen who then helped recover the body. They had no in-house doctor, no oxygen cylinder, no trained CPR person. NOTHING. No support whatsoever To address insult, they installed life jackets the next day of death to hide from the police investigation. It took 1 life, 1 priceless life for them to understand basic needs to keep a private beach. You need to be very very careful before taking a decision. The resort might look deceitfully welcoming and a secluded beautiful property with one of a kind experience, but there are some serious gaps in basic security services that any beach resort MUST offer before anything else.

Pls don't come to this resort. They don't have any lifeguard, even don't have emergency kits. My brother passed while staying in the resort and roaming in beach. Mostly the sea ibeach is very dangerous, you won't see any public, to be honest no medical help even no hospital near by. The stuffs are not helpful. Be careful of this place.

I stayed for 2 days at Samudra Resort & Spa, Puri, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The hospitality was absolutely zero - from check-in to check-out, the staff showed no sense of courtesy or professionalism. The property itself is poorly maintained, with unhygienic surroundings, broken amenities, and a complete lack of cleanliness. The staff members were rude, unhelpful, and lacked even basic manners to talk to guests. The overall service quality was worse than expected - everything from room service to housekeeping was delayed, careless, and unresponsive. For a place calling itself a "resort and spa," the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise management to take immediate corrective action and improve their service standards. Definitely not worth the money or time - one of the worst stays I've ever had.

I recommended My friends to this hotel and they booked #203 in a huge amount but the television didn't work,and when I went their to met my friends Mr Mishra didn't allow that and said, we have no rules and regulations to enter the room and in dinner time we got a insect inside my curry,I already told them but they didn't do anything.so I don't go once again to this property.very bad services from the management.

Very peaceful place to visit to get away from noise of the city..The staff is very cordial and polite..They have a private beach which is quite serene..The food was really good with multiple options to choose from..All in all a great place to plan the vacation..

Excellent Property, hospitality and food by the resort. Shall surely advise all friends to visit at least once. Both riverside cottages and rooms are good. Ample parking space and green area. Private beach is excellent with free boat ride.

It my great stay such awesome thanks lot samurdea team, thanks Misra . Really I enjoyed beach, water activity, spa,swimming pool and special quard bike . Rooms nice and front office help ful persons they helped during check in time..........

Location rooms and food is all awesome the only thing which I didn't liked is there service which wasn't fast the pool was clean and awesome and the beach was amazing to sit and enjoy but the beach isn't for swimming or taking bath the hotel would be amazing if the service and hospitality was a bit quick and efficient

Lovely experience. Quite in the outskirts, never felt such a stay in Puri, Adorable family time. Best experience than ever.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Must try.🥰🥰🥰🥰 Resort was quite neat and clean, staff were co-operating, has a big swimming pool and enjoyed the greeny. Also had a boat ride to the beach seems like a private beach. Manu and Chef Prakash Mohanty gave a spark to our stay. 🏖
