A house converted from 4 townhouses into a unique place to stay, filled with antiques, paintings and an ambiance of by-gone days. You are at Logis de Domme. We’ve had no friendlier welcome. Helene et Francois were attentive, but discrete too. Happy to give advice about local restaurants and sight seeing. If you choose the breakfast option you may get pancakes and eggs cooked however you choose alongside an assortment of fresh bread, pastries and home made jam. I could work using the fast fibre Wifi. We had days in the wonderful Dorgogne countryside, and the confluence of the 2 rivers and the Valley of the Chateaux is remarkable. I loved seeing the hot air balloons above us. Dame Josephine Baker’s garden was a highlight, along with the Abbey of Coly-St-Armand which was curiously impressive in the middle of nowhere. I think ‘awesome’ is the word to describe our stay in this region. If you are looking for a place with individuality, thoughtful hosts, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and historical places to visit then you will find it in this special place. The mist over the valley, melting into sunshine in the morning, and the sunset over the valley from the top of the village were special moments. Thank you Helene et Francois for a lovely mini-break. We hope to return in the spring to see those spring bulbs!

Great little hotel at the entrance to town with 5 rooms, each uniquely different. Lovely continental breakfast, served on tge terrace.

Can’t say enough about this wonderful B&B owned by charming Helene and Francois. They were so lovely and helpful. Breakfasts were yummy! Our room was spacious, with the nearby beautiful garden and spa affording great views of the Dordogne region. Domme was our favorite Dordogne village.

We stayed six nights in this wonderful and romantic inn located in the charming hilltop town of Domme. The only thing better than sipping wine in the bucolic garden overlooking the valley was the friendliness of hosts Helene and Francois. They were so incredibly attentive, making recommendations and dinner reservations for us. The inn is perfectly located for exploring the Dordogne's many attractions and for canoeing and biking. The antique-filled room was spotless with a modern bathroom and a refrigerator that contained a bottle of local wine. The breakfast (which is extra) was scrumptious and filling ...and even more delightful when eating it in the garden. But for all the amenities, the best reasons for staying here are the hosts themselves (and their cute dogs).

There are few places that can compare to the lovely boutique hotel 1 Logis a Domme. Truly everything is perfect! Spacious rooms with beautiful art and antiques. Glorious garden with tables set up along a terrace overlooking the Dordogne River valley. Delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts. 3 adorable dogs and a cat to greet your arrival. And the hosts, Helene and Francois, always friendly and warm while offering suggestions for local restaurants and adventures. All this located in the charming hilltop town of Domme. We are so lucky to have stayed here for 3 nights. Thank you.
