After a lovely coastal walk to work up an appetite - the Royal Hotel delivered exactly what we were craving. Fabulous bacon and egg rolls, and they even had my preferred accompaniment - sweet chilli sauce ❤️ My partner had a hot chocolate and I had a mocha. Both so delicious we had another one each. Cosy open fire. Lovely lighting. Highly recommended.

We have just stayed for 3 nights in the apartment and had a great stay, The staff were attentive and interested in what we had done during the day. The apartment was clean and well fitted out. The location of the hotel is incredible with stunning views. There is a great pizza restaurant around the corner and an amazing bakery just up the road. This is a real gem.

AVOID - UNWELCOMING & OVERPRICED. Felt very unwelcome when ordering food at the bar by a blonde woman who I think was the manager. I was repeatley told the kitchen was very busy and since we hadn't booked a table we were at the end of the que. I should've left then, but continued to order. On the menu it states to choose between either Skinny Fries or hand-cut chips, I asked for Skinny Fries and was told that I'll just get what the kitchen has. Food arrived, I ordered the Chicken Flatbread, the 'salad' was a crispy kale leaf. Not worth the money or wait. My partner had the Seafood Chowder, which was too salty to finish. My Sister in law had the Battered Sticky Chicken Tenders, which was a bowl of chicken nuggets and chips. Go elsewhere - like the Sutor Creek or Fishertown Inn.

Hotel view was nice , but was very disappointed with my stay room was not cleaned and was not offered clean line or towels.. for the time stayed ,room was not hoovered Food average not alot for vegetarians Waitress was not very nice .. felt like it was to much bother for her ..and she was very rude ...when serving us ..
