We stayed here the weekend of the comrades marathon. The people are really friendly and willing to help. This doesn't make up for the rest... We were not aware that our room is next to a tv room that the owners are using themselves most of the day and night, it was really uncomfortable unloading our luggage as we have to walk by them the whole time. We saw when we booked that there is Dstv, did not realize it is the owners TV in the tv room next to us. We were planning to stay in Saturday to rest for the marathon the next day, but we went out and stayed out because of the awkwardness. Our room had a terrible smell of dampness and this was very bad to inhale all the time. We had to open all the windows for fresh air even though it was cold. The bathroom ceiling was also full of green mold. I believe the place is over priced for what you are getting. Being in the B&B industry myself, I know what you get for the same rate. I also saw many reviews afterwards complaining about the same smell etc, just not understanding why no one tends to it. Again, the people are great, but not the establishment.

I spent one night there, going from the coast to the Drakensberg. The owners Linken and Grahame, their daughter and their granchild Kendra are lovely and it was a pleasure to have a talk with them. The location is very good and central. Our room was nice, there was a fridge and wifi; the bathroom was a bit basic with only bathtube and not shower. They have a generator if there is loadshedding at evening. English breakfast was good. Good value for money.
