Set outside of the main business district of Uthai Thani, this accommodation was quiet and potentially peaceful. Unfortunately, the positive points stop there. We had the room closest to the river. The small size was exacerbated by the layout, which required climbing over the bed to turn on the room light, and a large refrigerator which could not be plugged into the electrical outlet. The bathroom was also small, so that the shower and toilet occupied the same space, which is sometimes the case. But the clautrophobia was accentuated by the mold on the walls, complete with cockroach. Breakfast was provided, but based on pork or chicken, no consideration of vegetarian preference. An offer was made to bring fruit to our balcony, but this was never communicated to the service woman, so we ended up looking elsewhere for breakfast. Finally, the price was far in excess of the value. I did not see any other rooms, but after this experience, I was not inclined to ask.
