Had lovely lunch on the sand and will return tomorrow for a menu much more varied than the norm in this area (Sikka regency). Even pork available, although must be ordered a day in advance. Friendly staff with above average English skills. Beach is mediocre. We regret not staying here instead of Capa resort 10 minutes closer to town.

We stay 4 nights at this hotel... it is really quiet place and beatiful beach in front of all the villas. the beach is clean and the best view is during sunset. We have an opportunity of having barbeque at the beach arranged by the hotel personel. Don't forget to ask for insecticides for avoiding small creatures creeping around you...

We found Sea World after staying at another Maumere beach hotel for a couple days. We're glad we made the move! Sea World has basic, but very nice, bungalows on the beach with veranda's to enjoy. The restaurant was good and prices fair. The beach is great for swimming. The sea bottom is just sand - no rocks or creatures. Jasmine and her crew are very helpful. They also have motorbikes for rent on site so your not stuck to the location. The property is now owned by a local non-profit foundation and so the revenue goes back into the community.

I have stayed here many times and really enjoy the resort. Alfred and Jasmine are the managers and very efficient at taking care of your needs. The resort is right on the beach which is cleaned daily. I love the home made black rice bread they serve for breakfast. The beach villas offer a great ocen View. Thanks and see you next ime.

Extraordinary, Edenesque beachfront setting on a beautiful sandy bay east of Maumere. The waters are crystal clear and calm right in front of your beach bungalow. The word “Club” is misleading, as the facility is NOTHING like a large resort, rather a selection of beach bungalows scattered amongst coconut palms and casuarina trees on a very large piece of pristine beachfront land. The laid back ambiance takes one straight back to the 60’s perhaps. My wife and I booked for 3 nights and stayed on for THREE WEEKS! All the staff are super friendly, without exception. The guest and front of house manager Jasmine is just incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. Dinner served on the beach is utterly romantic. The food is excellent and modestly priced. Yes, there are some issues. Some of the facilities in the bungalows (bathrooms etc) and other areas are tired and need to be upgraded, and sometimes service (in the restaurant) can be slow. Management is aware if this and is working to improve as quickly as possible. Spotlessly clean nevertheless. Evenings local fishermen come and drag their nets with all the family helping. Lovely to watch. One can even buy freshly caught fish on the beach and the kitchen will prepare it to your liking!!
