Josef was a great host and cook! The place was clean a quiet. David who is the owner is a local and very nice. This is a great place if you want to be away from the party scene, the other guests seemed to also value the peacefulness of the hostel.

This place is a gem! I came with a friend for two nights and we enjoyed the big room with the private bathroom. The next day, my friend left, and I met some great people at the hostel, so I stayed for another night in a room with a shared bathroom. The owner, David, is really nice and welcoming, and we spent a whole 3 hours talking at breakfast. A lot of interesting people stop by at the hostel so you get to meet good people. The breakfast is plain but good: they offer to make you eggs of your choice, they have hot water on the table, some spreads, coffee & tea, fresh bread. The place is located about 20 minutes by walk from the clock tower, and like 5 minutes in tuktuk. I enjoyed my stay very much and I will return in the future! Highly suggested!
