Whilst certainly not a luxurious experience, and a little clunky in terms of service style, this small lodging proved perfect for our needs as walkers on The Rota Vicentina. It is centrally located and close to all the key places in town. Breakfast is served in the (closed) restaurant room below the apartments and was perfectly adequate for our requirements with good coffee, fruit-juice, fruit, bread, chees and ham plus a slice of fresh cake. The bread was always fresh. The room was air conditioned, the shower was powerful, there was plenty of space, the TV worked and the bed was comfortable! Our principal host - and breakfast chef - spoke no English but was charm personified. He did have a smattering of German, so - through the medium of mime and wth plenty of gesturing - we were easily able to make ourselves understood. I would recommend this as a place to stay for walkers.
