This place is way over priced ($350+/night). There were roaches in our room. It is not a bed and breakfast, which is how it was listed. As soon as I paid for the room, I received an email saying they do not offer breakfast. The beach is covered in seaweed which smells like rotten eggs. I know this is not their fault but good to know before spending a lot of money on this place. There was a lot of trash on the beach as well. It is not a swimmable beach due to the seaweed. They have kayaks available but to use them you will need to make your way through 6 inches of mud, seaweed and flies to get the kayak into the water. The room had a Keurig and some coffee pods but only a plastic cup or a wine glass to drink coffee out of. They provided creamer and sugar but nothing to stir the coffee with. And did I mention the roaches!!!

But the gem of the property is the seclusion with the amazing view of the ocean…Absolutely stunning!
Loved it…Would stay there again!

Good to be in front of the water, nice staff clean room, good that we can borrow bike and kayaks.
We were surprised to receive two different messages almost at the same time after we checked it, one was that we would get breakfast and the other was the breakfast would be canceled.
In the advertisement it's written that there is Seaview from the room but actually the room is on the top of the hose with two windows on the roof, no view at all.. We were disappointed

Quiet and scenic view, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the daily rush, hotel breakfast was very nice to have, not driving around, was simple but fresh and healthy choices for a small breakfast
convenient to find good breakfast spots and dining places within driving distance, about 45 convenient and fun drive to key west

I wish I had known, and this is my fault for not knowing that the Keys beaches aren't usable. We tried to kayak once but the beach was so rocky so far out that it was difficult, swimming was impossible. The location was very quiet and not touristy like Key West, which is what we were looking for. The breakfast was abysmal (packaged bagels, yogurt and cold cereal), I've had better at a Best Western. The location is right on the Atlantic and parking is free and easy. The treehouse is rustic and has a shower the size of a submarine shower and bring your own body soap. But its nice and private and separate from the main building. The key deer visit nightly and are adorable. If you want to read a book in the sun or shade and watch the sea all day, this is a nice place to do it.
