I visit ITC hotel regularly and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is consistently delicious — especially their breakfast and kumouni thali , What makes every stay special is the service: Kamal ji always takes great care of me, going above and beyond with helpful recommendations and warm attention. A friend and I stayed our first 3 nights in India at the Fortune Walkway Mall Hotel in Haldwani. We were generally pleased with our stay. We especially appreciated the entire hospitality team: manager, front desk, security, restaurant, housekeeping and maintenance staff. Our 5th floor room faced away from the busy Nainital Road and had a pleasant view of a nice neighborhood, a small farm, and wooded hills. Restaurant food quality, service, and view were excellent. Two problems came up: First, the shower was not draining properly on day 1, but a staff person fixed the drain after my friend took a shower standing in water. Second, we had some unwanted noise in the evening hours, apparently from multiple other guests playing music loudly late into the night. After some sleeplessness the first night lasting after midnight, we visited with the manager. On nights 2 and 3, similar noise was heard but as the manager suggested, we called the front desk at 11pm and the noise got much better. I noticed that many of the other hotel guests were younger people than we two older Americans. Thank you hotel staff for helping to make our visit to Uttarakhand a mostly enjoyable one!
