Drove to Tamasopa and needed a hotel for the night. I checked a couple and like this one the best. Rooms are spacious and cleaned. Place has 24 rooms. Nice big pool if the weather is good. Next to the river. They had a restaurant on site and snacks for sale. Alondra showed us the room ans she was very nice. Breakfast was good. Practically next door to Tamasopa Falls. They were building some cabanas. Nice property. Would definitely stay here when visiting Tamasopo.

Stayed here only 1 night of Friday February 18th 2022 because they didn't have availability any other nights. The grounds are beautiful, well manicured with trees and pools and a river and mountain view, very gorgeous and well kept. The rooms, however, are filthy. There were black ashes on the bed (not cigarette ashes, no idea what they were from). The walls had hair stuck to them, and were just filthy. The rooms are very basic with poor quality bed linens, and minimal furniture and no lamps. There isn't WIFI in the rooms, and it wouldn't matter since the TVs aren't "smart" TVs. It would be very easy for them to extend WIFI to reach the rooms, no idea why they haven't spent the $89 on the equipment necessary to do so. The staff is very kind and helpful, both at the hotel and restaurant. Restaurant food is good and generous portions at a fair price. It's too bad management won't make a small investment to deep clean the rooms, get better linens & furniture (nightstands & lamps), and extend WiFi to reach the rooms. They also allow groups to make a lot of noise at the palapas with parties and music until 1am, and then congregate in front of rooms having loud conversations as early as 7:30am. They should place signs in the areas in front of the rooms reminding people to be quit near where people are sleeping, and enforce quite time.
