The neighbour were very noisy, not very many options especially on a Tuesday there were no food outlets available and very limited options in the supermarket. The accommodation and service were good.

This was my second stay with family at the motel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved having an early morning walk around the nearby park and swimming reserve . It is also a quick walk to the nearby excellent cafes and bakeries and the town's historic displays.

Everything was great except the owners have somehow shrunk the bath towels, they look more like hand towels now, not good for a slightly larger man lol

Horrible Mattress
I was really disappointed with the bed in this hotel. The mattress was clearly old and worn out—you could feel a noticeable dip in the middle and the springs poking through. It made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they seriously upgrade their bedding.

We are sorry you had a bad experience with the bed, we take this feedback seriously and after checking the bed we cannot understand your concern, the mattresses are not very old and are definitely not showing signs of wear. What you may have felt was the element from the electric blanket, which is covered with a commercial mattress protector, being winter we provide these for additional comfort in our climate. The majority of guests appreciate getting into a warm cosy bed.

Had an overnight stay with a friend at the Creswick Motel and it suited us perfectly. Lovely garden area to sit and catch up on a hot day; walking distance to shops, cafes and pubs; clean; super comfortable and very friendly service. The owners were welcoming and helpful, accommodating all of our needs and then some. Many thanks for the wonderful stay!

This is a recently renovated motel – unfortunately necessary because of the big floods the town had in 2022. The location of the motel, at the bottom of the valley, does mean that it is potentially vulnerable to future flooding, although the town has tried to improve the flood defences. The rooms are smart and well-equipped with a gravel car park adjacent. The king-size bed was very comfortable. Close by is the Calembeen park and lake – great for swimming and it has a public barbecue.

Very clean and spacious room, but the noise from other guests was annoying. The bed was comfortable but seemed very small compared to our king bed at home. I was worried I’d fall off the side every time I rolled over. The usual amenities were in the room and for one night wasn’t a bad spot to lay the head.

A very nice room. Great heating on a cold winters night. Lovely warm floor carpet. Good comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Plenty of room for luggage. Very clean and quiet. Park right at the front door , and no stairs. Only a 10 min drive into Ballarat , without the city hustle. Highly reccomend it .
