Ndar Ndar House was one of the most wonderful places I've ever stayed. The staff are fantastic -- Oumar is clearly such a pillar of the community and has wonderful taste. The breakfast is delish (featuring homemade local jams from hibiscus, mango, baobob), the coffee strong and tasty. The rooms are comfortable and charming. The location is great -- within walking distance of great restaurants (Oumar knows all of them!) and other gems of Saint-Louis. The bottom floor is a great working space, music and bookshop, and turns into a fun music venue on Saturday nights (though the music stops before bedtime, which was also super respectful!). The staff have truly made this place feel like a home away from home.
