Had a lovely stay for our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Lovely hut and peaceful surroundings, the hot tub was very relaxing, and if you want to get out and about, there's a few pubs with 5 miles. We would love to book again in the future. Would definitely recommend to our family and friends.

The owners are awful people! My partner is now covered in a rash and we only stayed one night due to the filthy surrounding. Didn’t use the ‘spa area’ yuck! Outside of that the site was a dump.

酒店回复: Good morning, rick with a Capital P. When you get caught out trying to receive a refund through fraudulent means, do the honourable thing and admit it. Do not then start a barrage of abuse and try to make yourself feel better. You sent photos in of you partners arms who was working in the construction industry, with a wheel barrow in shorts on what was the hottest day of the year so far, the rashes on his arms, along with the cuts, were fresh and are consistant with carrying bricks or other materials in that industry, the photo was taken days after you stayed here. I have the photos, but I'm having trouble posting, perhaps you could be so kind as to post them on here, people can then see what we are talking about. I pity you, but you are not a very nice person. We have reported you to various blacklist sites and third-party booking sites to have you removed and banned from booking any where else in the future.

We went away for a few days relaxation for my partners birthday. With the busy lifestyles we have it was a well needed break away from home. With the ‘stripped back’ approach and taking away all distractions it encourages you to stop and enjoy what really matters. There were clear instructions of how to access the hut and lots of signage around to help guide you it helped make the stay that much smoother. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to booking up again to take family and friends to enjoy the experience with us. Thank you oak lodge escapes for making our stay a break to remember and for your help and hospitality whilst we were there, definitely recommend!

I booked the leopard hobbit hut for my husband’s birthday for a break away from the kids. Oak lodge escape was amazing and did not disappoint. We chilled in the hot tub, made some new friends and enjoyed the beauty of nature. I would highly recommend a break away here.

An amazing trip, we stayed in the flamingo hut, perfect get away from the rat race and hustle and bustle of everyday life. Host was accommodating and available. It’s a Little chilly at night so bring a jumper but worth it. Flamingo hut has separate bathroom and toilet.

Absolutely awful owners. Booked through Wowcher and there was a tech glitch that meant there was no availability. Cool beans, it happens! The owner had contacted to inform of the error and offer other dates. Unfortunately there was no other dates I could do, so refund would be the logical next step? Apparently not! At this point the merchant began a tirade of honestly obscure messages essentially saying they would be keeping the money. I spoke to Wowcher and they told me the owners had to authorise the refund. The owners were again refusing, so Wowcher contacted them directly and in doing so shared a comment that I had said the owners were rude and that communication with them had been difficult. So the owners emailed again! This time to tell me that "because I had said they were rude they would purposely take as long as possible to respond" then another tirade of emails about whether it was fair that I had said they were rude. Eventually, Wowcher resolved this thankfully and I now have a wonderful weekend booked somewhere else. I have genuinely never come across anything like it! They will take your money and cancel your booking! Avoid!

We never, ever said we would keep your money; we never had your money in the first place, it would remain with the third-party you booked with. We understand frustrations can get the better of you, but we did apologise and explain what had happened (we have the emails to show this), it simply was not good enough for such an entitled Richard the Third. Please remain at a comfortable distance from us as we would never allow you to stay with your attitude. Have you tried Mars for a short break, or possibly the sun?

We stayed at oak lodge retreat for one night to celebrate my partners birthday. The hut is small but wonderful and ideal to disengage from the world. I booked the birthday package and also the bundle of spa exclusive access, Robes, Fire-pit kit. Birthday bundle was ideal - not over the top but 3 lively balloons and the banners already placed ready for our arrival. The whole facility was lively - and the exclusive spa time ideal for couples who like their own space, I quickly figured out how to light the sauna and within half an hour it was lovely. The hot tub was also lovely and hot. Overall it was a fantastic experience - reading some of the reviews I was concerned but the reality is very very different. Some people need to read what they are booking.
