We were incredibly lucky to find such a beautiful place in Hampshire — a real gem. The mansion is surrounded by a stunning park, and waking up to birds singing felt like a forgotten luxury. This grand house is clearly loved by the family who owns it, and you can feel how well it’s been looked after. There are so many original features and beautiful pieces of furniture throughout the house, which add to its charm and character. We were warmly met and welcomed by Anna and Viv, who made us feel at home straight away and ensured our stay was comfortable and relaxed. We brought our dog with us, and he absolutely loved exploring the grounds — especially sniffing around where the deer roam! We were lucky enough to see two deer on the lawn in the morning, which was such a peaceful and graceful sight. We would definitely recommend a visit to Hollybank House.

I came to Emsworth for 2 nights to attend a family celebration. I cannot speak highly enough about Hollybank House and its owners. The House is glorious with beautiful grounds. My room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable, especially the bed with its wonderful linen. The choice at breakfast was particularly good. Perfectly cooked by Anna and presented by the 'attentive & nothing is too much trouble butler' Only joking, it was the delightful Viv, Anna's husband. Ian and Roz were busy dressing the Christmas Tree and putting up further decorations around the house. I am only sorry I wasn't able to see it finished in all its splendid glory. I definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area, now that I have found this elegant gem and am looking forward to returning. Thank you Williams family

High value on a very satisfying visit. Spacious, elegant and very comfortable accommodation in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, very hospitably served. Ian and his staff were welcoming and most helpful at all times.

We recently held a family wake at Hollybank House in Emsworth, and it couldn’t have been more thoughtfully arranged. This lovely family-run business offers a truly personal touch. The food was freshly cooked and delicious, and the drinks were excellent quality. The staff were attentive, kind, and really listened to our requests. The room was beautifully set up, with pictures and flower arrangements displayed with great care. Some close family members stayed overnight — the rooms were spotless and comfortable, complete with a kettle, a nice selection of teas, coffees, and little treats. We enjoyed a lovely fresh roast served at our convenience and a varied breakfast the next morning at a chosen time. The house itself is charming, surrounded by spacious green grounds. The grand piano was a wonderful touch — our son was delighted to be able to play it during our stay.

We have recently had a wake at Hollybank House. The whole experience from start to finish was seamless. Ian and his team were friendly, helpful and sensitive to the occasion. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We have also celebrated a happier occasion at Hollybank House and would highly recommend it for any event.

We were looking for somewhere close to Havant Crematorium to hold a wake, and stumbled on Hollybank House. So glad we did - the location is beautiful, with a large group able to spread out through elegant rooms and gorgeous gardens; the food was excellent and the staff helpful, friendly and discreet. Everything was arranged by caring owners around our particular needs, and we think this would be an ideal location for any event - a wedding, for example. The immediate family also stayed overnight, and this was a wonderful way to unwind. The rooms are lovely, and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious home cooking. Amazingly good value for money for such quality.

Our room was beautiful, high ceilings, spacious, wonderful garden views, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds and fabulous towels. You can walk into Emsworth but as a couple of a certain age we opted for an Uber which cost £6. Breakfast the next morning, served in the dining room with really lovely furnishings, was freshly cooked to order and set us up for the day. We were there for Goodwood Races and as we go to Goodwood regularly we will definitely be back. Thanks to all the team at Hollybank House Anna, Viv, Roz and Ian Williams

Two night bed and breakfast stay at Hollybank. Beautiful property with extensive grounds. Met by the proprietor’s daughter, who welcomed us and showed us to our (Ivory) room. Very comfortable bed and lovely views over the garden. Proprietor Ian v relaxed, friendly and helpful and kindly provided excellent breakfasts, including an early one on the first morning. Overall v much enjoyed our stay; would certainly recommend if looking for accommodation in the Emsworth/Chichester area.

Really good experience - hosts were very welcoming and both the rooms and the breakfasts were really good. Facilities were much better than you would get at a conventional B&B. Very competitively priced and represented very good value for money overall

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Hollybank House and the grounds were peaceful and glorious. We had a room overlooking the garden at the back, which was perfect! The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was a beautiful high-ceilinged room, full of lovely furniture and paintings on the walls and again, glorious views of the gardens! I would definitely recommend Hollybank House to anyone wishing to stay in Emsworth.
