This hotel was a fantastic stay for a week on business, it was clean, comfortable and very convenient for amenities required for a business trip. The check in experience was really quick and easy with front of house employee (lady with the red hair! Apologies for not remembering your name) was really nice, friendly and polite. She couldn’t do enough to help with my initial check in. Abbie was also very friendly, polite and helpful with my queries, they were both a credit to the hotel. The beefeater next door was as equally good from the cheerful, polite welcoming staff to the meals served including the breakfast. It was a wonderful experience.

Just returned from a weekend at Thoresby Hall. Food, staff, room and swimming pool were all great. What a pity the now longer have free activities like shuffle board and quizzes to help with the community feel.

Lovely clean hotel with a really lovely welcoming receptionist. Comfort that you would expect from a premier inn yet paired with a level of rudeness from restaurant staff I have NEVER experienced. We booked a table for breakfast at the same time as family members to make the most of the very limited time we could spend together. On arriving in the restaurant I mentioned we were with family who have just been seated. The man looked at me and said "Well you're not sitting with them!" and marched off to the table he had decided we would occupy. Not even in view of each other. Had the restaurant been full, and had he used an acceptable tone, it absolutely would not have been an issue. But there was a table that would have seated us that remained empty for the entire time we were there. So this was obviously a power trip for absolutely no reason. Had the breakfast been edible, it may have taken the edge off. Yet this was not the case. Save yourself the stress and go to Castlewood Sutton in Ashfield as it's always lovely and friendly and the food actually tastes good.

Return visit to Worksop and as always staff were super helpful, especially Chell on the reception. She took time to make us feel most welcome and it makes such a big difference. Great stay, comfortable bed in quiet room at the back of the hotel. We also enjoyed a very tasty breakfast in the morning. Will be back again soon.

The restaurant staff was very welcoming, friendly and even went out of their way to get us a table for a family at four thanks to Jack would highly recommend eating in the restaurant

One of the best PI experiences and we stay regularly. Carly was absolutely amazing. When I forgot to book 2 children, she took time to make the room up with an extra bed herself and did not make us feel like we had been an inconvenience (even though we had). It's not often I feel the need to write a review but Carly and the restaurant staff were all exceptionally focussed on ensuring a great customer experience. Thanks again PI team!
