Jaagir Manor exceeded every expectation. The heritage interiors, the impeccable service, and the connection to nature created a stay that felt super luxurious and meaningful! Truly an IHCL experience at its finest.

We a senior citizen couple booked a suite thru a travel agent, at Jaagir Manor Dudhwa to celebrate our wedding anniversary which turned out to be a horror experience for us as on the second day of our stay only, I had a serious fall wearing the house slippers kept in the suite due to which I slipped in their slippery tile bathroom and fractured my wrist. Post the incident, the General Manager of the property nor the owner of the property have taken any responsibility for the accident which happened due to their total negligence of keeping sub standard sole slippers . They have ignored the incident totally and after a month they replied to my email with a standard apology. and refunded only the 2 unused nights and unused safaris as we rescheduled our flights to return to mumbai the next day to receive urgent treatment of my fractured wrist...( this too also on my asking) which does not even minutely compensate for the pain and agony I am suffering besides hampering my daily life .. The Taj management has not come forward with any response or action and I strongly urge everyone not to book this Resort which has no safety standards and lacks care and customer relations This property is a blotch on the ethos of Taj hospitality and lacks empathy and care and does not go beyond the hefty room rates they charge …

A beautiful property managed by Taj. The food, service and ambiance are all top notch. We were there during Holi. The staff arranged a little celebration for all the guests with colours and flower petals. We thoroughly enjoyed our safaris to Dudhwa National Park and Kishanpur Sanctuary. Amith Bangre, the manager and head naturalist deserves a special mention. He accompanied us on all our safaris. We were fortunate to spot a tiger and a few rhinos on our safaris apart from terai specials like Barasinga and Hog deer. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Jaagir Manor Resort is a stunning heritage and vintage property nestled among agricultural fields and orchards of mangoes, lychees, and guavas. The next morning after checking in, we went for a walk and cycling, and the experience was truly amazing. The staff is very courteous and attentive, the food menu may be limited, but it’s delicious, and the drink menu is exceptionally rich. The naturalists here are extremely knowledgeable. They arranged a private dinner space for our wedding anniversary celebration outdoors, complete with cake, and also decorated our room. In Palia, there are two jungle safari zones, namely Dudhwa and Kishanpur, and we chose the Dudhwa jungle safari through our resort, although it’s also possible to book directly through the u.p. eco tourism office at a cheaper rate.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed -- including many properties in India. Beautiful rooms, great services, delicious food catered to dietary needs, wonderful safari experiences with first class naturalists. I am already planning to return again -- although it is a very long trip from California.

Rarely you come across a place which takes your breath away !! Right in the midst of huge farmland this small boutique manor is so artistically done that every place , every thing looks perfect and well thought through. Superb service , great food and friendly and caring staff and beautiful location …… what else can you ask for !!
