A place that is definitely worth of stay or at least of visit. The mansion is furnished to reflect the spirit of XIX age, including rooms of stay. You can really feel like a guest of the landlord in old times. It is also possible to arrange events there as they have beautiful halls for groups of different size.

We walked to the lady near the entrance that stands near the gates. To ask if we're able to book for 1 adult and 3 kids, then she told us that the taller one of the kids wasn't a kid so we would have to pay more and started to get really rude. She proceeded to be super rude to the point that we refused to book at that place, making our exit. She changes her mind and said we can get it booked, this lady seems to only want money whilst approaching people cruelly.

I had an idea to spend a night in historical manor. Burbiškis was in the area I was traveling in weekend, so I chose it. The manor is indeed very historical with numerous antiques which are almost frightening – one has to pass a room with lots of china and other artefacts to reach your room or go to the restaurant. When you have a booking, you are also entitled to free roaming through the historical rooms and through the park. Room itself is also recreated with antique (or close to antique) furniture, however with all modern trappings. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom is spacious and very clean, there are tea/coffee making appliances in the room. Breakfast is fine, nothing exceptional. Of the negatives: room, though spacious was somewhat stuffy, though they provide an electric fan. The biggest problem was dinner: I arrived Sunday, late afternoon, the restaurant was open only until 5 p.m., same working hours were in the local food store, so, for the dinner I had to go with tea and some bisquits I had. If you book there, check the hours of the restaurant and bring some snack if necessary - there are no other eateries around.
